ILC staff member will provide you consultation concerning recruitment opportunities; help you to fill in the form with your worker criteria:  occupation, number of workers, work experience, practical skills testing (if applicable) and other relevant information for successful recruitment of skilled workers.

    Once ILC has received the final worker criteria, our office immediately begins to conduct the initial recruitment activities to scan our vast database and contact potential candidates. Our office will then conduct information sessions about your company's employment opportunity, conduct pre-screening interviews, test candidates for English and practical skills (if applicable), revision of recommendation letters and other documents that certify practical skills and work experience. Next step is making CVs for the candidates and sending them for employer's re-check.

    After pre-screening an appropriate number of applicants, our office will send you the resumes of suitable candidates so that you can review their qualifications, work experience and personal details. The employer reviews the CVs and selects candidates that will be further invited for the interview. If you have additional questions about candidate, do not hesitate to contact ILC for any additional references. After review of resume, ILC arranges interview with candidates at ILC HQ or remotely via Skype.

    Candidates that have been selected by the employer obtain their job offers and sign contracts. After that, ILC prepares all the necessary documents for getting work permits and submits all papers to embassy and immigration services.

    Depending on your requirements as an employer and other conditions, the applicants who have already received their job offers, may need to undergo medical examination and pass English test.  Our staff provides consultation to the applicants in terms of the whole process and can arrange medical examination at the accountable medical establishments as well as arrange English testing.

    If you are a citizen of the country where there is visa-free entry to Canada, you do not need to undergo medical examination.     Once the work visas are ready, we invite the applicants to attend pre-departure orientation. Here candidates receive information concerning the company of employment, corporate specifics of work, working conditions, cultural and legislative peculiarities of the country of employment, advise which steps shall be made at first in the country of employment. ILC also assists to book tickets and meet candidates at the airport in the country of employment.

    If you are a citizen of the country where there is visa-free entry to Canada, you do not need to undergo medical examination and get Temporary Resident Visa for arrival to Canada. For your employment you need to have Job Offer and positive Labour Market Opinion only. You will get Work Permit at the Canadian Border Guards.
