Competencies required

Graduates from Agricultural Colleges or Universities is desirable

At least 2 years of official work in agriculture (mixed farms)

English proficiency is a must: at the moment of departure for Canada this level shall be equal to IELTS 4.5 that is required by Immigration Services of Canada. Candidates that will receive job offer will be able to enhance their English skills during the time of processing documents that will take 3-6 months 

Experience in people management is required

Experience in operating agriculture equipment 

Company offers

40 working hours per week

Salary: starting with $2 500 CAD/month + overtime is paid

Accommodations are provided by the employer but paid by the candidate

Health insurance

2 years’ work permit with possibility of immigration

Key responsibilities

Organization of working process on the farm

Planning of agricultural activity and using of agronomic arrangements, such as planting, growing, irrigating, crop collecting, herbicides using, pesticides and fertilizations.

Experience in operating, maintaining and cleaning farm equipment (Combines, Air Seeders, Sprayers, Swathers, Front-end Loader, Augers)

Team player willing to work long hours in peak seasons

Perform general farm duties as directed by the farm owner

Take care of livestock

Identify and perform basic animal health procedures and vaccination programs

Installation and maintenance of electric fences
