Competencies required

3 years’ experience as mechanic, motormechanic, adjuster or technician

IELTS certificate, level General 4.5 is required

Mechanical ability and an interest in all types of machinery and two cycle engines
Knowledge of methods, tools and equipment involved in the repair of small engines and equipment
Capable to understand and work with job orders
Strong, healthy, no history of past injuries

Company offers

40 hours per week

Salary: from $22-25 CAD/hour

Accommodations will be available. Candidates are responsible for cost of rental

Employer will supply all required tools

Key responsibilities

Diagnose, servicing, maintaining and repairing different types of small engines and equipment such as snow blowers, lawn mowers, lawn tractors, leaf blowers, garden trimmers, chain saws, log splitters, pressure washers  and generators

Ability to use diagnostic tools, test devices, review and interpret technician manuals
