Competencies required

Graduates from Agricultural Colleges or Universities is desirable

At least 2 years of official experience with livestock (beef cows)

IELTS certificate, level General 4.5 is required

Company offers

Schedule may change depending on the season and work loads

Salary: $2300- $5700 CAD/month. Depending on the work experience of the candidate and the type of farm

Accommodations will be available. Candidates are responsible for cost of rental

Key responsibilities

Identify and perform basic animal health procedures and vaccination programs

Assist in carrying out pasture or pen breeding programs

Perform basic care of animals (handle, process, sort, feed)

Perform general farm duties as directed by the farm owner

Experience with use and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment an asset

Team player willing to work long hours in peak seasons

Possess valid class 5 driver's license, or equivalent, and clean driving record
