Tank Body Fitter Welder

Competencies required

Age: 21 - 45

1 year of work experience as a welder

Fluent English is required

Welding experience required, and the ambition to learn.

Aluminum / cosmetic weld experience would be an asset.

Steel welding experience.

Company offers

8 hours per day (Monday to Friday) or 10 hours per day (Monday to Thursday), 40 hours a week. May be day or evening shifts.

Salary: Starting $22,88 CAD per hour, overtime is paid at 1.5 times the base rate

Accommodation is provided by the employer but the cost is the candidate's responsibility

Key responsibilities

Fit and weld steel tank bodies using the GMAW and SMAW processes.

Fit and weld aluminum tank bodies using the GMAW and GTAW processes.

Fit and weld stainless steel tank bodies using the GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes.

The operator will receive two extra job classes over his base rate when welding on ASME certified vessels to a maximum of job class 26.
