Drywall Installer

Competencies required

Age: 22 - 45

1 year of work experience in construction and renovations

Conversational English (an applicant should be capable to handle the interview with the employer without an interpreter)

Company offers

40 working hours per week

Salary: starting with $17 CAD/hour, overtime is paid 1.5 higher

Accommodations are provided by the employer, but paid by the candidate

Health insurance

Key responsibilities

Install of metal stud framing and suspended ceiling systems using hand and power tools.

Install of fibreglass insulation in partition walls.

Install of drywall on walls and ceilings.

Mix and apply plaster.

Sand surfaces following drying and apply additional coats as required.
