I am from Uman town, Cherkasy region. I graduated from the university with bachelor's diploma as a teacher of English in 2011. I didn't see any perspective to further study or work under my occupation. I have been dreaming to go abroad for ages. However, when I studied at the university, I could not obtain US visa, even for summer time, as my sister lives in the U.S. and is the US citizen. I applied several times, but was refused. I was advised to obtain a visa to go to other countries first, since I have not been abroad before, and in my passport had no special notes about it; and this fact appeared to be important.

I decided to go to Poland for some time. Before leaving for Poland I found ILC website in the internet. I came to the company's office, communicated with the staff and made sure they were responsible and good to cooperate with. After the interview with ILC recruiter I was invited to participate in the internship program in Sweden that was to start in a few months. When I returned from Poland, I immediately started my paperwork for this program. The result is positive, as you may see.

It is very important that ILC cooperates with Farmers Association in Sweden, that facilitates documents processing procedure and ensures employment in a good farm. Internship in Sweden is conducted in agricultural sector. I have selected a dairy farm. The farm operates all year round, and experience received on such a farm is of a great value when looking for a job in the other countries, for example in Australia. Farm work is usually not so easy, but much of it is completed using mechanized equipment. The farmers entrust us operating large tractors and other equipment, we also milk cows, which is a very important process for the farm.

I am very glad to be able to travel around Europe. I have already visited Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. The city surprised me very much. It is interesting that Stockholm has only eight days of sunshine for the whole summer. My friends and I are planning a trip to Paris now.
