Denmark

Denmark is the happiest country in the whole world (according to the data provided by The Earth Institute in 2013). This small country in North Europe, with a little more than 5.5 millions of inhabitants, is considered also as one of the most successful countries, including economic sphere. Denmark citizens are satisfied with their living standards more than anybody else, and an average span of life is 79 years, and it should be indicated that this is the highest index in the entire planet. There are no poor people in Denmark, because the level of social security is highly developed, and so called "class differences" are feebly marked. Data from 2012 says that 6.2% of total Denmark population are immigrants. Denmark in one of the most active countries of European Union which is interested in hiring high-skilled workers from all over the world. Soeren Pind, Denmark Minister of immigration, says that immigrants are more self-sufficient, than Danes themselves, and take an active part in social life of the country.

Denmark is a leading country in such spheres as: design, architecture, agriculture, "green technologies" and pharmacy. Danish highly efficient agriculture is one of the essential sectors in country's economy, 55% of area of the country is used in agriculture with 120.000 people working in this sphere or 5% of able-bodied population of Denmark. Especially, animal husbandry is the biggest sector in Denmark agriculture, and number of cattle livestock is 2.1 million. Denmark occupies fourth place in the world concerning cheese export. In planting the biggest attention is paid to fodder crops, which occupies the major part of the area. A huge importance is paid to protection of environment in Denmark.
