Internship

In 2010, ILC started a internship project in Italy. The main directions of internship are: construction sector and heavy industry (welders).

Program requirements:

• Program duration - 6 to 18 months
• Sectors of training: construction, heavy industry
• Salary: 1000-1300 Euro (after taxes) per month
• 8 hours per day, 5 days a week
• Employer provides accommodation; the rent may be paid by either the employer or the trainee
• Trainees are responsible for food
• Paid vacation: 2 days per month

Requirements for program participants:

Age: 25-34

Education in the selected field would be an asset

Work experience: minimum of 1 year

Ability to demonstrate experience through a practical test

Category "B" driver's license is desirable

Conversational Italian

Interest in obtaining practical experience in the suggested field

No visa violations or deportations

No previous criminal record

No health problems

No forged documents

Timely provision of documents and information about personal data change

Main stages of the program:

• Interview in ILC
• Interview with employer
• Signing individual training project agreements
• Preparation and submission of visa documents
• Intensive Italian language course (if required)
• Departure of program participants
