The Work and Study program gives you a unique opportunity to get acquainted with other cultures, learn English and obtain a unique international experience which will help you to build your future career.  In addition, by participating in this program you will receive a new experience and will meet new friends from all around the world. This program gives you an opportunity to learn more about Canadian culture and lifestyle.

The Work and Study program consists of two parts: the academic part and the practical part, which makes it possible to learn English in a classroom environment and to also get some paid work experience.

The academic part of the program includes: intensive English language course, specialized terminology, a customer service protocol program, seminars on how to find a job in Canada, employment conditions, and much more.

The practical part of the program is a paid internship in the hospitality and customer service sector (shops, resorts, hotels, and others).  Starting wages are from $10 per hour and up. The program is offered in either Toronto and Vancouver.

PROGRAM DURATION

24 weeks (6 months), this includes 8 weeks of intensive English and 16 weeks of language practice & work experience

32 weeks (8 months), this includes 12 weeks of intensive English and 20 weeks of language practice & work experience

48 weeks (12 months): 16 weeks of intensive English and 32 weeks of language practice & work experience

REGISTRATION

To participate in the program, you can register at any time of the year but at least 12 weeks before the desired departure date.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

• At least 18 years of age
• Intermediate level of English
• Participant cover letter
• Proof of finances with confirmation from the bank
• Free of any criminal record
• Responsible, flexible and independent

PROGRAM COST

The program cost depends on the desired duration:

6-month program  - $2,544 CAD

8-month program  - $3,666 CAD

12-month program - $4 720 CAD

Additional charges, which will be incurred by the applicant when participating in the program are: registration fee, Canadian Embassy visa fee, medical assessment fee, food and accommodations in Canada, flights and travel insurance.
