Mechanic

Competencies required

Age: 20 - 40

Formal training as a mechanic from a recognized post secondary institution is preferred

A minimum of one year of previous experience as a mechanic in an agricultural technics

Practical knowledge of English

Company offers

8.5 hours per day, 4 days a week

Salary: 15 CAD/hour, overtime paid at 1.5

Accommodation is provided by the employer, is covered by the candidate

Health insurance

Key responsibilities

Knowledge of the functioning of the sieves, belts, augers, conveyors, bearings, motors, chains, dryers, cylinders and screens.

Use of standard equipment mechanics.

Basic computer knowledge.

Repair of various mechanical components.

Acting under instructions not violating safety regulations.
