Canada General labourers at meat processing plant (beef), Job ID: 2014, Alberta

They have 142,000 employees in 67 countries. The High River, Alberta, plant is a fully integrated beef processing facility where 2,000 employees process 4,500 head of cattle per day. The employment program provides the possibility to obtain 2-year work permit and allows further immigration to Canada.

Competencies required
Complete secondary education
3 years official and verifiable experience on physically demanding position (it may be employment at the plant, construction sites, agricultural facilities or industrial enterprises)

English proficiency is a must: to pass interview with employer one will need IELTS 2.0; at the moment of departure for Canada this level shall be equal to IELTS 4.0 that is required by the employer and Immigration Services of Alberta. Candidates that will receive job offer will be able to enhance their English skills during the time of processing documents that will take 3-6 months.

 

Good health

Ability to lift up to 45 kg

Ability to do repetitive tasks, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods

Working around odours in a hot and cold/refrigerated environment

 

Company offers
40 hours per week
Salary: $ 19 CAD/hour
Accommodations are provided by the employer, but paid by the candidate (300-350 CAD/month + utilities)
Health insurance

Transportation to and from work is the worker's responsibility

Flight cost is covered by the employer!
