Competencies required

Age: 21 - 45

1 year of work experience as a welder

Conversational English (an applicant should be capable to handle the interview with the employer without an interpreter)

International Welder Certificate

Company offers

8 hours per day, 40 hours a week

Salary: $15-21,75 CAD per hour, overtime is paid at 1.5 higher

Accommodation is provided by the employer but is the cost is the candidate's responsibility

Key responsibilities

Study work order / blueprint to determine how components are to be built.

Gather and inspect raw materials / subcomponents, tack and weld components.

Fixtures are used depending on the complexity of the part, accuracy required, and/or volume of parts to produce.

Inspect finish work for weld quality and conformance to blueprints.

Remove weld spatters as necessary.

Grind and buff edges and corners as necessary.

Hang parts on rack to transport to paint facility.
