Competencies required

Graduates from Agricultural Colleges or Universities is desirable.

At least 1 year of official agricultural experience.

IELTS certificate, level General 4.5 is required.

Grain farms: Possess valid Class 1A driver's licence or equivalent (asset).

Livestock farms: Possess valid class 5 driver's license, or equivalent, and clean driving record.

 

Company offers

Schedule may change depending on the season and work loads.

Salary: from $2 300 - 5 700 CAD/month. Depending on the work experience of the candidate and the type of farm.

Accommodations will be available. Candidates are responsible for cost of rental.

Key responsibilities

Grain farm:

Experience operating , maintaining and cleaning farm equipment (Combines, Air Seeders, Sprayers, Swathers, Front-end Loader, Augers)

Team player willing to work long hours in peak seasons

Perform general farm duties as directed by the farm owner

Possess valid Class 1A driver's licence or equivalent (asset)

Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, and harvest crops
