Competencies required

Agricultural education (students of universities, institutes, colleges and others) in agricultural field (veterinary, farming, animal science, processing of animal products, agronomy).

Conversational English (an applicant should be capable to handle the interview with the employer without an interpreter).

Driving licence for passenger car

To be able to drive a tractor

Company offers

37 hours per week, including employment on weekends

Health insurance

Accommodations are provided by the employer but paid by the trainee. Houses or apartments, situated near the farm, are for several people, but everyone has separate room

Scholarship: first six months from 1168 EUR per month (after tax)
from 7th to 18th month - 1310 EUR per month (after tax).
Overtime is paid 1.5 times the hourly wage
Training duration: 12 months

Key responsibilities

Animal farms (dairy and meat farms):

Working with cows

Milking cows, preparation for milking, using of milking equipment

Taking care of cattle

Taking care of pastures

Animal farms (pig farms):

Taking care of pigs

Feeding pigs

Flower greenhouses:

Taking care of flowers

Thinning flowers

Cutting and packing flowers
